Shannan is an Associate and Team Leader within Terravias’ Environmental Management team, and Business Manager. With more than 15 years of experience across the waste, resource recovery, and environmental sectors, she has built a diverse career spanning both the private and public sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Alongside her role at Terravias, she serves on the Masterplanned Communities Committee of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA), contributing to discussions on sustainable development and the future growth of Western Australia.
Passionate about finding practical solutions to complex environmental challenges, Shannan enjoys working with clients to navigate the ever evolving regulatory landscape and achieve positive environmental and project outcomes. She has experience leading environmental management and approvals projects across Western Australia and is known for her ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulators.
With a strong commitment to sustainability and a detailed understanding of Commonwealth and State environmental legislation, Shannan provides strategic advice and clear direction through complex regulatory and approval processes. Her collaborative approach, commercial awareness, and focus on practical outcomes help clients navigate environmental requirements with confidence and successfully progress projects from planning through to delivery.
