Andrew is a Principal Environmental Scientist with over 14 years of environmental consulting and ecology experience in Western Australia.
His work spans the mining, infrastructure, land development, local government and NGO sectors, and he has undertaken flora and fauna assessments across a wide range of bioregions including the Swan Coastal Plain, Southwest, South Coast, Pilbara, Goldfields and Gascoyne.
Andrew is highly experienced in detailed reconnaissance and targeted flora surveys, as well as basic and targeted fauna surveys for conservation of significant species including the Northern Quoll, Bilby, Quenda, Western Ringtail Possum and Black Cockatoo species. His work is consistently delivered in line with EPA Technical Guidance for Flora, Vegetation and Fauna Surveys for Environmental Impact Assessment.
Beyond survey work, Andrew has extensive experience in Environmental Impact Assessment and the preparation of approvals under Parts IV and V of the Environmental Protection Act, as well as EPBC Act referrals to the Commonwealth Government. He is also experienced in the preparation and implementation of Environmental Management Plans to address approval conditions.
