Stephen is a Geographic Information Systems Analyst and Spatial Scientist with over 20 years of experience across the natural resources and mapping sectors, having worked in both State Government and private industry.
He is ESRI certified and brings well-developed expertise in map creation, spatial analysis, 3D analysis, GIS map production and data management across a variety of software packages and tools.
Stephen’s spatial expertise extends into related fields including topographic surveying, remote sensing, cartography, GPS and geodesy. He has strong analytical skills developed through project work in habitat modelling, impact assessments and sensitivity analysis, and a particular passion for spatial analytical methods used within ecological assessments – an area where he continues to explore new GIS capabilities to drive innovation and efficiency.
Stephen has also developed experience in bushfire risk assessment, having worked on and managed a wide variety of bushfire projects. This includes in-depth knowledge of Method 1 assessments, assisting in Method 2 assessments, and the preparation of Bushfire Attack Level reports, Bushfire Management Plans, Bushfire Emergency Evacuation Plans and Bushfire Risk Management Plans.
